Pre-action device is a fixed fire prevention system which can realize early fire alarm and automatic fire extinguishing. The fire detection part can send out fire alarm in time. Then the rain valve is opened and the pressure water fills the pipe network rapidly. When the temperature continues to rise, the sprinkler starts to spray water. The system overcomes the shortcomings of both wet system and dry system, takes the best of both systems. It has the characteristics of early alarm, fast spraying, full function and wide application range.
The fire alarm will be given before the sprinkler operates, therefore the fire extinguishing system can be used in places where water is not allowed easily, such as precious goods storage, rare books collection libraries, archives, computer rooms and so on. Many fire hazards were handled by duty personnel before sprinklers were used to extinguish fire, thus avoiding large-scale waterlogging.
